Alain Bartels is currently a student and Research Assistant at the University of Western Australia. Alain completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics in 2015; he then completed a first-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. His passion for microelectronics and statistics compelled him to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering. He currently as a tutor and Research Assistant in the UWA System Health Lab as a Research Assistant for student and industry projects. His most research project was an evaluation of the feasibility of Software Sensors to determine calibration intervals for hard-to-maintain sensors.
