Melinda is the BHP Billiton Fellow for Engineering for Remote Operations. She did her undergraduate degree at Oxford University then worked in industry for over 10 years. She then completed a PhD at the University of Western Australia and joined the academic staff. From 2012-15 she was Australia’s nominated representative on the ISO 55000 AM Management System Standard committee. In 2016 she was appointed to METS Ignited Advisory Council and in 2017 joined the NOPSEMA Advisory Board. This is her 4th Unearthed Hackathon event.
