Matthew is an Innovator, Scientist and Machine Vision Software Engineer. He is founder and Principal Scientist at Innovative Machine Vision in Melbourne. He has a PhD in 3D imaging and is an Associate Professor in Image Analysis with an affiliation to Lulea University of Technology in Sweden. He has a significant profile of research relating to image analysis based on structure, and machine vision systems for measurement and optimisation in heavy industry, specifically mining and steel. He lived in Sweden for 7 years where he worked within a process industrial IT collaboration envinronment and
