- Former Director at Adept Electronic Solutions, Australia's leading Machine Vision supplier with more than 20 years’ experience

Peter has extensive experience in multiple sectors, including agriculture, robotics, software, and resources (mining and oil and gas) to name just a few.
He has particularly relevant experience with commercialising resources technologies, and has been involved with many startups over the years.
Peter’s skills are best utilised in:
- Promoting and supporting innovation and commercialisation
- Providing advice and assistance to program applicants
- Assisting program participants through the commercialisation process
MOTIVATION
Peter can appreciate how challenging startups can be at times, so he enjoys giving entrepreneurs advice and instilling in them the confidence to persevere.
As part of Peter’s role (Federal Government’s Accelerating Commercialisation Program), he is constantly on the lookout for people who they can assist.

Peter finds it extremely rewarding to see startups growing and developing. He loves helping them to avoid common mistakes, and being witness to their success.
SUCCESS STORY
Newton Labs were the first graduates of Unearthed’s Accelerator Program and Peter has been mentoring them since that time in 2014.
They won the WA Innovator of the Year Award in 2015 and are currently delivering a large boulder detection product to their first customers on hard rock mines in Western Australia.
